One of the flagships of Belarusian mechanical engineering - Minsk Tractor Works - is celebrating its 70th anniversary. Festive events have launched today to last until the end of the week.
A new park with 70 symbolic thujas has been opened in a square near Minsk Tractor Works. In addition, this area is designed for children, with playground equipment and a mini skate park. Another gift to all factory workers and Minsk residents is a fully renovated MTW Palace of Culture.
The most spectacular events timed to MTW’s anniversary will be held in the next three days. A large-scale exhibition of both retro and the latest machinery will unfold on the area near the plant tomorrow. Saturday will see a procession of the cars, and on Sunday Minsk Tractor Works will host a Doors Open Day.
