Now the Belarusians pay about 1/3 of the utility tariffs, the rest is paid by the state and companies. Tariff reductions for the real sector will have a positive impact on the economic status of companies. It will enable them to allocate funds to repay existing debts and increase profit. Accordingly, this should lead to an increase in salaries.
The three stages of avoiding cross-subsidization will be completed in 2018, when the population will start to pay the full cost of public utilities.
