MAZ to launch production of engines jointly with China

Today Minsk plant and the Chinese company Weichai have laid the foundation stone for the joint venture. The first engine will be assembled next year. This was announced today by MAZ director-general Dmitry Katerinich after the solemn ceremony.

The total investment in the project is $ 20 million. The joint venture will become a resident of the Sino-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, thereby receiving preemptive benefits and preferences.
