Lukashenko meets with head of Central Bank of Russia

On May 29, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko met with Chairperson of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina, BelTA informs.

"You are a universally recognized figure. Even your enemies admit that Elvira Nabiullina has very quickly dealt with economic issues in Russia and the currency problems, especially in the face of sanctions. That's me almost quoting what your enemies are saying. So I would ask you to also focus on the issue  of the digital ruble. What this is, and how we will move in this direction. But the most important thing for me is still a reserve currency," said Alexander Lukashenko.
