Fundamentally new railroad machinery may be produced in Belarus

Belarus is ready to produce Stadler-Minsk locomotives for Moldova. The country traditionally relies on Belarus’ capabilities when updating its transport fleet. During yesterday’s meeting with the Belarusian President, Moldova’s Prime Minister Pavel Filip praised the openness of Belarusian market for Moldovan goods. In general, according to last year’s results, trade turnover between the two countries approached a quarter of a billion dollars.

The parties regard high technologies, agrarian experience exchange and increasing industrial exports as the main growth areas. This was discussed during the Moldovan Prime Minister’s tour of the Stadler Minsk company, where the politician was demonstrated the latest technologies in railroad vehicle production.

Pavel Filip's visit continued with negotiations in the Hi-Tech Park. IT industry development is one of the top priorities in the economies of the two countries. The parties discussed cooperation options.

The Prime Minister also visited the National Library and the advanced farm Ozeritsky-Agro.
