This agreement was reached in Beijing at the meeting of the Energy Minister of Belarus Vladimir Potupchik with the Head of the North China Power Engineering Company. The parties noted the good prospects for further cooperation.
Vladimir Potupchik also held a meeting with the President of the Chinese National Corporation for Overseas Economic Cooperation where the interaction in energy and the implementation of joint projects were discussed.
As of today, Belarus is implementing 8 investment projects in the energy sphere worth USD 1.7 billion. Taking into account the project on power line construction for the Belarusian NPP, this amount will reach USD 2 billion.
