The warm relations between Minsk and Moscow not to be spoiled by omissions and financial squabbles. Our politicians didn’t have holidays, even the last days before the new year, President Alexander Lukashenko held negotiations in the Russian capital.

Only last year, the leaders of the two countries met 13 times. They talked about everything, but first of all about the key positions in the Union State.

One of the obstacles of successful integration is a tax maneuver. Belarus will lose 400 million dollars due to the new Russian law. A huge imbalance in the conditions of work in a single market between Belarusian and Russian enterprises is not in favor of Belarusian ones. Our refineries a priori lose in such conditions.

To prevent this, a special commission was set up. This group does not have much time to resolve all issues. Alexander Lukashenko stressed this at a big meeting.

At least two tools to minimize losse in petrochemistry were voiced by the Head of State himself. This is the completion of the modernization of our refining and alternative oil supply channels. Belneftekhim confirms that modernization is in a step from completion, and alternative oil supplies are calculated on an ongoing basis.
