Profitable trade without shadow schemes in the space of the EAEU members, as well as an increase in the number of settlements for transactions and contacts in national currencies were discussed today at the meeting between the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus and the Minister for Economy and Financial Policy of the EEC. As Igor Petrishenko noted, Belarus is a transit and export-oriented country and is ready to actively work on these issues. The participants also talked about new approaches in e-commerce, according to which VAT will be paid in the country of consumption of the goods. They want to legislate it within the framework of the Eurasian Union.
The EEC representatives discussed approaches to e-commerce in detail with the relevant ministries of finance, taxes and fees. This is a very important aspect in the mutual trade of the five countries.
