Belarus and Russia not only withstood the economic pressure, but also are entering a new growth trajectory and steady dynamics of mutually beneficial cooperation. This was stated by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov. The strengthening of our allied relations is a response to the external pressure. Mutual trade turnover, which exceeded $50 billion last year, has already kept the dynamics this year and increased by 22% in the first quarter. Our cooperation is focused on industrial cooperation: Belarusian and Russian enterprises are closely linked today. One of the Union programs is in charge of a unified industrial policy.

During a working visit to Minsk Denis Manturov will also visit a number of Belarusian enterprises of microelectronics and aircraft engineering. Joint projects in these areas will be discussed.
