Belarus and Georgia will continue to maintain high dynamics of contacts. Today the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries signed a cooperation program for the next two years. Vladimir Makei and Mikheil Janelidze paid particular attention to cooperation in the international area, particularly in the UN programs of sustainable development and the Eastern Partnership initiative.
Vladimir Makei, Foreign Minister of Belarus:
"This is the first official visit of the Georgian diplomacy. We discussed the whole range of issues of bilateral cooperation as well as important areas of cooperation between our countries on the international arena".
Another confirmation of the strengthening of relations between the two countries will be the Days of Belarusian Culture in Georgia.
