The State Secretary of the Union State pointed out that Belarus and Russia should work out a long-term formula for oil and gas prices. Grigory Rapota met with the staff of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies, where they discussed relations between Belarus and Russia, including on road maps, oil and gas negotiations.

Grigory Rapota, State Secretary of the Union State: "We all understand that a final solution to the dispute regarding oil and gas problems has not yet been reached. I wish we developed such a price formula, which will be of a long-term nature and will not force the parties to enter into very difficult negotiations each time."

The State Secretary also addressed the topic of constitutional reform. Grigory Rapota said that changes to the Russian constitution are unlikely to influence the Union State.
