By Ksenia Lebedeva: Negotiations with a delegation of industrialists from France were held today by representatives of the machine-building, petrochemical and road-building industries of Belarus. The visits to MAZ and BELAZ were of particular interest for the delegation.
In the past 6 months, this is the third visit of French entrepreneurs to Belarus. The first delegation included representatives of the dairy industry, then - representatives of the food industry.
Didier Kaness, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Belarus: "Such visits are the most effective way to attract the attention of French companies to the opportunities of the Belarusian market."
The French business is becoming increasingly interested in prospects of cooperating with Belarus. Improved macroeconomic situation, economic growth, and better business environment of the country creates favorable conditions for establishing contacts. This was noted by international financial experts, with whom the delegation met the day before.
As the French guests noted, this will serve as a good starting point for new projects of entrepreneurs of the two countries and closer business cooperation.
