Export of Belarusian confectionery redirected to Asian and African markets

Satisfying the domestic market and prioritizing foreign markets. The Belarusian confectionary industry defines an export strategy. This week it was announced at the International Symposium of Confectioners. It was held in the capital and featured novelties of the "sweet" industry.

Among the main issues is import substitution. The promotion of products both within the country and abroad remains relevant. Today, the consumer pays attention not only to the taste of the product, but also to the bright packaging. Anyway, "Made in Belarus" remains a recognized brand.

Our sweet products are also known and loved abroad. Now external supplies are redirected to the eastern direction. Manufacturers are developing new niches of the Chinese market. As for the imported component in our products, the sanctions have affected logistics and delivery times, but all contracts remain in full force.

The same situation is now in Russia. By the way, there were quite a few guests from our neighbor at the symposium. It is obvious that in difficult conditions it is important to stick together. This also applies to promotion and purchasing. This event is a good platform to discuss all the details.

Yes, it is necessary to invest in promotion today. The more effective is the strategy, the more goods will be purchased. The trade actively cooperates with our sweet brands. And someone makes their own products. For example, the Belarusian Cooperation Union produces more than 12 thousand tons of confectionery products a year.
