Belarus has been actively cooperating with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for 25 years. The total investment has approached the figure of 2 billion Euros. In addition to supporting small and medium-sized businesses, money is allocated for the construction of highways, new industries and, in general, infrastructure development. Thus, in Vitebsk, Lida, Polotsk and Orsha, water and wastewater systems were modernized at the expense of the Bank.
