The document says that the economies of the developed countries are experiencing an unprecedented recession due to the coronavirus pandemic. The real GDP of 37 countries in the second quarter of the year lost almost 10% compared to the previous period. The most significant decline in GDP among the G7 countries is observed in the UK -more than 20%. France is in second place - almost 14%. Italy closes the top three - where GDP dropped by almost 12,5%. OECD experts note that the economic recession due to the coronavirus pandemic is much deeper than the global financial crisis of 2009.
