This was stated today by the Union State Secretary Grigory Rapota, who gave a press conference with the media on Belarus and Russia Unity Day. Despite the fact that last year the bilateral trade turnover has decreased by 27 percent, the size of the Union State budget this year will not be diminished, it remains at the same level. More than half of the Union budge will go for scientific and technical programs, which serve two purposes: the development of cooperation of scientists of the two countries and creation of innovative products.
Today, in honor of the holiday, in the cultural center of the Embassy of Belarus hosted an exhibition dedicated to the Day of Unity of the two countries. On photographs and documents, you can see the political, economic and cultural cooperation between Belarus and Russia.
