A new electric bus from Belarus was unveiled in Moscow at the 10th international exhibition Electro-Trans-2021. From the outside the bus looks very impressive. The green colour declares the environmental friendliness of the vehicle. The Belarusian electric bus is fully battery-powered with enough electricity for 300 km of travel.

Oleg Smolyanko, Deputy Head of Sales Department  at MAZ: "We offer our own concept of night charging. It is charged at night, and we operate it during the day. You plug it in at night, drive it on a route in the morning and work. According to our calculations, you can work 2 shifts with up to half an hour charging.  It's night charging, when the city consumes minimum electricity. And an indisputable plus is that night electricity is cheaper than day electricity".

Moscow has already expressed interest in the electric bus. Our next bus with electric drive will be put on the route in St. Petersburg. Based on the test-drive results, a decision on purchase will be made.
