Belarusian NPP, new step to the future

After seven years of uninterrupted work on the construction site, Belarus begins to receive its first atomic kilowatts. This is a new step into the future, which guarantees the country's energy security. BelNPP will allow reducing dependence on hydrocarbons, which is mainly Russian import. Besides, the project opens new opportunities in many spheres, from industry to medicine and education. The peaceful atom will also become an impetus for electric transport development. Today, the first power unit has been brought to a new capacity - 400 megawatts. The IAEA experts have repeatedly emphasized that BelNPP meets all nuclear safety standards.
