The price per square meter of housing with state support equals to the average salary in the country. The result of the previous year is 7,188,000. This year, according to the Ministry of architecture and construction, the cost of housing for people in need of better housing will grow by no more than 5%.
The housing prices in Belarusian cities have decreased by 20-40%. Real estate experts attribute this to the fall in demand. Last year, the lack of buyers has been characteristic for the housing markets in most cities of Belarus.
Gomel housing fell in price by an average of 33%. The cost of apartments in Mogilev fell by 37%. In Vitebsk the prices decreased by about 40%.
This year it is planned to build 800,000 square meters of non-profit housing. The construction of rental housing was suspended this year. The reason is the lack of funding.
