The meeting is dedicated to resources for further economic growth and evaluation of possible structural reforms. The experts noted that this year Belarus has one of the best balances of payments in its history. This ensures stability at macro level and economic growth.
Igor Mantsurov, Director of the Research Institute at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine:
"During this time, Ukraine has reduced 4 times the proportion of its economy in the global volume of production. At the same time Belarus increased it by 2 times. This is just a consequence of the fact that Belarus does not lose control over the development of the industry over the development of leading enterprises and so on".
A major factor in the growth of the Belarusian economy in the future is orientation for exports. Next year Belarus expects no-deficit balance of payments.
