The domestic organizations and enterprises, which made deals at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange during the first half of the year, have saved and earned extra money by 40%. Due to the competition at the bidding they were able, on the one hand, to buy cheaper raw materials and, on the other hand, to sell their finished products abroad at a higher price. According to experts, today the export quotations of Belarusian products at the stock exchange are 10% higher than their over-the-counter prices.

Andrei Novikov, First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange: "The prices originally announced by buyers, in the course of trading could be reduced to 40%, which allowed a particular agricultural organization to get additional savings. An example is the export of Belarusian lumber. Today export quotations for lumber are 18-20% higher than the OTC market price of direct contracts".

Today more than 26 thousand participants have been accredited to work at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, about 7 thousand of them are not residents of our country. Cooperation helps domestic enterprises to sell their products to more than 60 countries.
