Belaruskali begins construction of new mine Darasinski

The memorial sign was opened today by Governor of Minsk Region Anatoly Isachenko. An administrative complex, a crushing plant, an ore warehouse and a conveyor for delivery of raw materials to the factory will be built at the industrial site. The new mine will increase production to nine million tons per year. The mine field will be located under the territories of Soligorsk, Luban and Slutsk districts. It is planned to build the mine at an accelerated pace within four years.

The new mine will create eight hundred and forty jobs. Belaruskali together with a Chinese company is building a new plant for the production of potassium nitrate.
