Belarus hopes to deepen cooperation with Sverdlovsk Region

This was announced by Prime Minister Andrey Kobyakov at a meeting with the acting governor of the Russian region Evgeny Kuivasheyev

The domestic companies are ready to increase cooperation with Sverdlovsk partners. Moreover, Belarus is ready to increase supplies of road, construction and communal machinery. Our country and Sverdlovsk Region can favorably complement each other. Russian region is particularly interested in expanding contacts in the sphere of high technologies and automation.

Andrei Kobyakov, Belarus Prime Minister: "Sverdlovsk Region is a long-time friend and reliable partner of Belarus. There is a huge potential for trade recovery, which a few years ago exceeded half a billion dollars. I think you will support our ambitious, but realistic objectives. We believe that we need to develop and implement specific measures to deepen cooperation, to work out and implement a plan of joint action for the development of cooperation in the sphere of industry. "

Mid Ural is one of the flagships of Russian Regions, large industrial and business center. Sverdlovsk Region is primarily known for its industry. There are about four thousand businesses. Their main specialty is ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy, mechanical engineering, mining and processing of minerals, production of defense products. Therefore, Sverdlovsk Region is often referred to as the pillar of Russia.
