Belarus continues diversification of export of agricultural products

Belarus increased food exports over the past year. The preliminary figure for the growth in supplies is 4%. Our country has traded at 5.5 billion dollars. The largest share of Belarusian milk and meat was sent to the Russian market: only a third of the products went beyond the Union. It was possible to increase supply volumes in almost all sales markets and discover more than a dozen new ones in 2019. Belarus came close to 90 million dollars in trade with China. It is expected to increase food supplies to 100 million, according to the results of 2020. The main exported product is meat: beef and poultry.
