13 марта 2018

Belarus has suggested Russia a road map for settlement of the issues on milk supply.

This was announced today by head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Leonid Zayats. Negotiations on the export of dairy products continue. In the near future this topic will be discussed by vice-premiers of the two countries in Moscow.

Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance intends to ban the supply of milk and dairy products from Belarus on March 15.

Today, the Government also talked about the readiness of the agricultural organizations for the sowing campaign. Banks have prepared preferential loans, but only those who have repaid loans over the past year can count on them. Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov drew attention to this. In the southern regions, sowing can begin soon. However, not everyone has coped with the schedules for fertilizer application. In a number of regions there are problems with equipment readiness.

This year it is planned to sow almost 3 million hectares of spring crops and produce 5% more agricultural products than last year.
