Belarus and Zimbabwe are expanding cooperation. The tasks for the near future are quite ambitious, but real. Today this was discussed in Minsk. Deputy Prime Minister met with a delegation from the African republic. Leonid Zayats noted that the leaders of Belarus and Zimbabwe have agreed to work closely on joint projects which are economically interesting for both countries. The main goal is to establish supplies of the Belarusian foodstuffs. The African republic is also interested in our technology: they are already talking about organizing joint production of milk powder, beef and poultry.
Belarusian technologies and organization of product processing will require qualified personnel, which is why the list of common interests of Minsk and Harare also includes education: we are talking about cooperation with Belarusian universities to train specialists.
