26 inter-regional agreements and more than 20 commercial contracts are the result of the work of the First Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan. There are about 30 economic goals in the cooperation roadmap. The priorities include engineering, agriculture, food, pharmaceutical, light industry, transport and IT.
Marianna Schetkina, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus: “This is a new stage in relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus. This is a new page that opens up new opportunities. This is primarily the development of trade, the development of tourism, industrial cooperation“.
