Belarus and Pskov Region of Russia intend to strengthen cooperation

Belarus and the Pskov Region of Russia intend to strengthen cooperation and are preparing a plan on ways to minimize the economic losses associated with coronavirus. Prospects and problematic issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed today at the meeting of the working group. The dialogue was held online. By the end of 2020, the partners expect to approach the $100-million mark in turnover. They expect to make up for the lost time in the near future. The potential for strengthening relationships is great. Belarus is one of the key partners for Pskov Region. Our producers make a third of the turnover. The partners are interested in Belarusian agro-towns, construction services, elevators, equipment and the whole range from passenger and cargo to special purposes.
