Belarus and Latvia ready to expand cooperation in joint ventures, high technologies and transit of oil products

The Prime Ministers of the two countries have discussed this today. Head of the Latvian Cabinet of Ministers Māris Kučinskis is visiting Minsk for the first time in 9 years. Issues of bilateral relations were discussed in the Government House. Andrei Kobyakov notes that Belarus is interested in a constructive dialogue with Latvia and the search for points of contact between the integration associations of the EAEU and the European Union. The transport and logistics sphere as well as investments are of particular interest. Belarus offers partners good benefits for working in the park Great Stone and the High Technologies Park.

Today, six joint agreements were signed on economic cooperation, science and technology, sports and tourism.

The interaction at the level of the legislative and executive authorities of Belarus and Latvia was discussed today at a meeting in the Belarusian Parliament. Tomorrow the guests will visit a forum of business circles, the High Technologies Park and the industrial park Great Stone.
