Belarus and the Czech Republic have intensified mutual trade and are planning to strengthen cooperation in the field of science and technology. This became known after the meeting of the Belarusian-Czech mixed commission. The parties note the rapid growth of trade turnover between Minsk and Prague. The Czech equipment is installed in many enterprises of Belarus - from Naftan and Belshina to the Belarusian NPP. The Czech Republic, in turn, is interested in the agro-industrial sector of the Belarusian economy and cooperation in the energy sector.
In the first three months of this year, Belarusian exports to the Czech Republic increased by 50 percent and exceeded $ 28 million. At the same time, the positive dynamics is caused not by fluctuations in prices for raw materials, but by a general revival of business activity in Belarus.
