The countries of the European Union are among the top 10 investors to the Belarusian economy. Jens Henkel is the head of EPC Group which specializes in consulting, design and construction. The main activity is construction of industrial plants in the field of petro-chemistry, chemistry and pharmaceutics. 90% of engineering and consulting services account for the market of Saudi Arabia, China, Indonesia, Russia and Kazakhstan.
Germany is one of the leading trade partners and investors of Belarus. In our country there are more than 300 enterprises with participation of German capital and about a hundred representatives of German companies. The important projects include construction of the yeast plant in Slutsk and enterprises for the production of metal in Vitebsk region.
