The Belarusian-Armenian relations have revived recently. The momentum for the dialogue at all levels was laid by the warm and friendly meeting of President Alexander Lukashenko with the newly elected Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in Sochi. The economy is witnessing a dramatic intensification of business activity both in the bilateral format and on the basis of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Last year, a record turnover of nearly 43 million dollars was reached. This is a good indicator for two small republics that do not share a border. But there is also an opportunity to increase these figures. Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia Igor Nazaruk stated this in an exclusive interview for Belteleradiocompany.
Igor Nazaruk, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Armenia: "We are now witnessing a renaissance, a dramatic surge in the activity of business circles and government officials in cooperation with the Republic of Belarus, and this process is gaining momentum. Following the results of 2017, we achieved a record sales turnover of 42.7 million dollars. This is a very good result, but we would like to improve on this achievement."
TV Channel Belarus 1 will air the exclusive interview with Igor Nazaruk tonight.
