The Belarusian-European economic forum is held in Luxembourg
As the Prime Minister of Belarus announced, our country intends to preserve the open nature of the economy and attract foreign investments. At the same time, Andrei Kobyakov stressed that the main thing is not the money that will go to the budget, but the effective owner, the future of the enterprise and its contribution to the creation of new jobs, as well as the economic growth of Belarus. The outcome of the dialogue of officials, businessmen and experts will be the conclusion of documents on investment partnership.
The Prime Minister of Belarus also held talks with the Vice President of the European Investment Bank. Andrei Kobyakov noted that this year became a landmark in the development of cooperation: a framework agreement was signed that allows the bank to carry out activities in our country. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the parties will be able to implement a number of important projects in the field of transport infrastructure, housing and communal services, energy efficiency, as well as support and development of small and medium-sized businesses.
