Investigative Committee conducts successful operation jointly with Ministry of Internal Affairs and FBI

The Investigative Committee has announced a successful operation conducted jointly with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FBI. The activity of an international group on the creation and distribution of malicious software has been stopped. Among the participants of the group was a resident of the Gomel region. According to experts, the malicious software records user actions, gathers information about logins and passwords and uses them to access accounts, as well as remotely perform hacker attacks. A criminal case was opened.
