Large batch of cannabis detained by Brest customs

A large batch of cannabis was detained by Brest customs. The truck followed from Poland to Russia through an international crossing point "Kozlovichi".

Igor Rudakov, deputy head of the Brest customs: "The inspection revealed 350 briquettes of hashish."

The Preliminary assessment cost of smuggling is about 6 million dollars. A similar incident occurred in 2014, when the cargo of 330 kilograms of drugs was hidden in railway carriage.
