Half of Minsk left without electricity

The reason is the accident at the Heat Power Plant 4. The emergency situation there happened about 11 o'clock in the morning. However, at noon, the city power supply was fully restored. The equipment outage occurred due to rupture of one of the voltage transformers. The causes of the emergency at the plant are now being investigated by on-site emergency team.
