Naum Halperovich was born in Polotsk. He is the author of many poetry and prose books. Some works have been translated into Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Chinese and Polish.
He is the Deputy Director of Culture channel, member of the Presidium of the Belarusian Fund for Culture, Board of the Union of Writers of Belarus and the Belarusian Union of Journalists, Chairman of the Republican Society "Belarus-Armenia". He was awarded the Francysk Skaryna Medal.
