The telephone vote will be held on September 24 after the broadcast of the final national gala-concert “Song for Eurovision”, which will be aired at 22:05. The final results of the festival will be known after summing up jury and audience vote. Each performer will have a personal telephone number. The first figures of the number are common for all performers: 8-803-100-03-ХX. XX stands for a performer’s number, for instance 01, 02, 03 stand for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd singer to appear on the stage. The calls are free.
The national contest "Song for Eurovision" is held to select a performer, who will represent Belarus at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Hasselt, Belgium on November 26, 2005.
The contest was organized by National State TV and Radio Company of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture. The rules of participation of the Belarusian talents in the contest correspond to international standards.
In total 56 singers applied for the contest. The professional jury listened to all the audition records and chose 10 songs, which will be performed on September 24. After the telephone vote of the audience and vote of the jury a song will be selected, which will represent Belarus at the International Junior Contest "Eurovision-2005" in Hasselt, Belgium.
