The First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio to hold a linkup "Minsk-Baku"

Press release  The First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio and Azerbaijani public TV and radio company "Idzhtiman-TV" will hold a live linkup "Minsk-Baku" at 13:20, February 7. An international song contest "Eurovision 2008" will be the theme of the linkup.

The First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio and Azerbaijani public TV and radio company "Idzhtiman-TV" will hold a live linkup "Minsk-Baku" at 13:20, February 7. An international song contest "Eurovision 2008" will be the theme of the linkup.
It should be noted, that Azerbaijan will take part in Eurovision for the first time. Naturally it is interested in experience of training for such a prestigious song festival.
Belarus will be represented at the linkup by Yuri Azarenok, Deputy Chair of Belteleradiocompany, and Alexander Tikhanovich, chief executive of the national music TV project Eurofest (selection round for the Eurovision).
They will have a direct link with the Azerbaijani representatives at Eurovision 2008, a duo of Elnur Guseinov and Samir Dzhavadzade in a studio in Baku. The duo will perform a song "Day after Day" at the contest in Belgrade. During the program there will also be a live broadcast from Moscow during which Kim Breitburg and Dmitry Koldun will be contacted. Breitburg is a producer of Ruslan Alekhno, the Belarusian representative at Eurovision-2008 and Koldun performed at the contest last year.
