Between May 5 and May 10 Ukraine’s Sevastopol hosted 1st International Festival of TV films and programs “Won Together” dedicated to the 60 years anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war.
The festival war organized by the National rada of Ukraine in the issues of TV and Radio Broadcasting, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry and a number of social organizations of the country. The action was fully supported by the “International professional non-commercial organization “Eurasian Academy of TV and Radio”. About 100 works from 11 countries have been selected for the final: Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Romania and Tajikistan. President of the “International professional non-commercial organization “Eurasian Academy of TV and Radio” Oleg Poptsov noted that “TV films and programs presented at the festival are the best gratitude to the WW II generation that stopped fascism”.
The joint project of ATN (TV Infoservice) of Belteleradiocompany and TV and Radio Broadcasting Organization of the Union State a 15-part documentary series “There Was War” became the winner of the festival in the nomination “Brotherhood in Arms”, received bronze statue “Aphrodite” and a special prize from Ukraine’s Marines Commander.
“Victory Plaza-2005” performance received special diploma in the nomination “Soldiers of Victory”.
