International satellite channel Belarus 24 has become the official information partner of the Third Belarusians of the World Festival of Arts, which will take place in Minsk on 7-11 September. The cultural forum is timed to coincide with three significant events - the 950th anniversary of Minsk, the 500th anniversary of the Belarusian book printing and the 135th anniversary of Belarusian poets Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas.
Belarus 24 will broadcast a press conference dedicated to the opening of the festival, a rehearsal and a concert of creative teams "Belarusians from abroad congratulate the capital", the unveiling of a monument to Belarusians living abroad in the Trinity Suburb in Minsk, as well as many other significant events of the festival. The event will also be broadly covered by the channel’s social media, too. Photos and videos of what is happening, as well as interviews with the participants of the project, will be posted regularly.
The Arts Festival is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Republican Center of National Cultures, and various associations of Belarusians from abroad.
More than 200 participants from Armenia, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, the United States, and other countries are attending the international forum. Among them are creative groups and individual performers, writers and poets, artists and photographers, as well as arts and crafts masters - all of them are Belarusians living abroad.
