Representatives of the Eurovision Supervisory Board are on working visit in Belarus. Their visit is aligned with preparations for the international song contest Junior Eurovision-2018, which will be held in Minsk this year.

Representatives of the Eurovision Supervisory Board are on working visit in Belarus. Their visit is aligned with preparations for the international song contest Junior Eurovision-2018, which will be held in Minsk this year.

In January Executive Director of Eurovision contest Jon Ola Sand visited Belarus. This time the members of Eurovision Supervisory Board: Ekaterina Orlova (Russia), Anya Zegwaard (the Netherlands), Natia Mshvenieradze (Georgia), Charles Dalli (Malta), Nicola Caligiore (Italy) came to Minsk along with Jon Ola Sand. Also, the representatives of Digame (Germany), Scrn (Great Britain) and Premier (Great Britain) companies and assistant of Eurovision Executive Director Gert Kark came to Minsk.

Today, during the meeting with the Chairman of the Belteleradiocompany Ivan Eismont and the management of media holding, foreign guests discussed in details the organization of the junior song forum final. The meeting was held at President-Hotel. Also, this November, Euroclub will be based here and delegates will live here.

Members of the Supervisory Board visited BelExpo exhibition, which is considered to be a place of Eurovision contest opening. Eurovision can be held in Minsk-Arena. By the way, not only Belarusians, but also spectators from EU countries will be able to watch the opening broadcast in full HD.

As a result of today’s events the Supervisory Board highly appreciated the work of Belteleradiocompany in development of the concept and idea of the show, logo and slogan, social program and security issues. The international song contest Junior Eurovision-2018 will be held in Belarus in November. Belteleradiocompany, as the only member of European Broadcasting Union (EBU) in our country, will be the organizer and coordinator of all events of the event.
