On June 22 “Good Morning, Belarus!” program will invite WW II veterans, Afghanistan war veterans, officers of Belarusian Ministry of Emergencies.
At 11:05 AM a documentary by Israel Pikman “Brest Fortress” will be on.
ATN’s reporters will offer to recollect events of WW II times. “Echo of the War” videofilm will be on at 13:40 and “I am the Castle. Holding Combat” at 20:45 by ATN’s Svetlana Vecherko will provide interviews with WW II participants. War chronics and materials from Brest museum have been used when creating the movies.
“Lad” family channel
Representative of Leningrad Blockade Society Zinaida Romanovskaya will be the guest of “Usual Unusual Day” hosted by Natalia Bordilovskaya.
“Voices” documentary will tell about the prisoners of Brest ghetto. Those who survived will share their recollections.
A documentary by S.Ageenko “Saturn Satellites” will expand on one of the bravest operations in the history of intelligence – penetration of Soviet officers into Nazi military intelligence “Saturn”.

The majority of the movies will be dedicated to the war theme: “The Guy from our Neighborhood”, 1943, “Krugliansky Bridge”, 1989 after Vasily Bykov’s novel, “Brother’ (joint production of USSR and Bulgaria, 1975, Mikhail Ptashuk’s “Sign of Trouble” and recent war drama by Viacheslav Nikiforov “The Unnumbered Hill”, 2004.
