"Radius FM" is the first Belarusian station, which prioritized urban hits contemporary, music, loved by modern, active people, aged 18-38 and onlooking to the future.
The music air of the station includes mostly active and energetic hits. We offer only the latest and the best songs of the Belarusian, Russian and Western pop culture.
"Radius FM" offers morning, afternoon and night shows as well as weekend projects, listener's choices in the afternoon and at night, thematic programs, humorous sitcoms and Sunday hit parades of the week. The shows take no more than 2-3 hours and the rest of the air is filled with DJ chatters, thematic programs and news.
"Radius FM" news service, on air in the beginning and in the middle of every hour from 6:00 AM through 9:00 PM, is one of the promptest in the country. We have a wide network of anchors throughout Belarus and abroad. Our weekend reviews sweep the mews of politics, sport, culture, economy, medicine and high technologies. Andrey Zuev, Natalia Lenskaya, Andrey Voronkov, Elena Orlova and Vladislav Radukov present the most interesting and promptest information of the day. Many of them also host their family programs such as "Yes Trespassing", "All Included" and "Gear Box".
According to director Yury Tsarev, while adding more news "Radius FM" will keep its broadcasting principles in the new season. More analytical projects, summing up the events of the week, including both live and recorded broadcasts, are going to emerge in the air.
In the season of 2004-2005 the radio audience will hear more informational and educational programs. The air will include totally new programs for those interested in driving, history, literature, healthy lifestyles, leisure, high technologies and many other things. A high priority will be given to journalistic projects, daily pres reviews and news digests.
The stuff of the station consists of pros, having an experience of working on the radio for many years and special, fellowly character. Our voices belong to popular entertainers like Alexander Barsov, Vladimir Bogdan, Arseny Sedov, Olga Bogdanova, Denis Dudinsky, Petr Mikhaltsov, Lelik Kastrulkin and Alexey Zhukov.
Among the entertainment shows are programs "Hot Minsk Guys", "Lion's Share" and "Observatory".
In a year the station managed to gain a nationwide popularity and ranked 2nd in the list of the best national radio channels.
7 months after it began broadcasting "Radius FM" received a silver medal in the nomination "Discovery of 2003" at Brand of the Year Awards.
In May 2004 its mock sitcom "Mushroom House" was nominated as the best entertainment program at Popov's Global Awards. "Radius FM" was the first radio station in CIS to introduce radio sitcoms.
"Radius FM" ranked 1st in the nomination for the best radio commercials and radio design at Kiev Advertisement Festival, held May 26-28.
Our mottoes "Stay in the Radius!", "The Best Music of Europe!" and "Just Listen!" became catchy with the public.
