The Kazakh party was represented by regional operators of cable television, which broadcast "Belarus-TV" on the territory of Kazakhstan, subsidiary of "Sekatel", KTV (Stepnogorsk) and leaders of the Belarusian cultural centers as well as representatives of TV-channel "Mir".
The representatives of the major Kazakh cable operator "Alma-TV" also expressed their interest in rebroadcast of "Belarus-TV".
The guest saw a presentation film about the channel, received full information about its policy, themes, its rating in the world and got answers to all the questions they were interested in.
After the presentation the Belarusian cultural center in Astana presented a concert, timed to 125th anniversary of the national poets of Belarus Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas.
At the moment "Belarus-TV" in Astana, Almaty and Aktau is broadcasted by cable TV operator "Sekatel". In other Kazakh towns is aired by "TELE BIT" (Aktobe), "KTV" (Stepnogorsk), "Fermata TK Uves" (Karaganda).
The National State TV and Radio Company of Belarus gives the Republic of Kazakhstan a free right to broadcast the TV channel "Belarus-TV".
The international satellite TV channel "Belarus-TV" was founded on February 1, 2005 by the National State TV and Radio Company of Belarus. It is meant for foreign viewers willing to receive all-out credible information about our country.
"Belarus-TV" is a state-run TV channel, which broadcasts outside Belarus 24 hours a day providing informational connection between ethnic Belarusians and their historical Motherland. The information is aired in Russian and Belarusian.
The air of the channel includes news and analytical programs, social and political projects, documentaries, history and culture of the Belarusian nation, sport, music, entertainment and children's programs and films - the best from the major Belarusian TV, film and video producers. The channel didn’t refuse from educational, children's, social and political broadcasting and its programs have always been socially responsible that is why they are especially popular in rural regions.
The programs of "Belarus-TV" were initially aired through satellites Intelsat 904, ABS-1. From May 7, 2007 the programs of the Belarusian channel have been broadcasted by the satellite Express-АМ22, which provides communication and broadcast to the Russia (from Kaliningrad), the CIS states, Europe, Middle Eats and North Africa. The programs of "Belarus-TV" can also be seen live in the Internet on the site www.belarus-tv.by.
