Belteleradiocompany continues preparations for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017, which will be held on 26 November in Tbilisi, Georgia. Belarus will be represented by Helena Meraai with the song "I Am The One".
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will take place in less than two months, and the preparations for the competition continue. The schedule of Helena Meraai is quite busy - it includes rehearsals, consults with a voice teacher, classes of English, as well as participation in various concerts. At the rehearsals, together with a team of professionals, the young singer improves her vocal skills and perfects her choreography. Helena successfully manages to fit all this activity in with her school hours. Also, special garments are now being created for the contestant to appear on the stage and the red carpet.
Apart from daily rehearsals, further promotion of the Belarusian contestant is under way. On 29 September, a professional photo shoot for Helena took place. The photographer Maria Sterzhanova set an ambitious goal for herself - she wants not just to stylize the photo shoot, but also to accurately convey the mood of the Belarusian contestant.
At the photo shoot, Helena was wearing exclusive dresses from Belarusian designers. The young performer herself is already looking forward to seeing the colorful pictures and says that it was the coolest photo shoot in her life.
The pictures will become part of the promo production that the Belarusian delegation will take to Georgia. The promo package will include traditional booklets, CDs, postcards, posters, an exclusive puzzle and calendar.
It is also planned to create an English version of the song "I Am The One". The pop singer, composer, and songwriter Rita Dakota is currently working on the lyrics.
On 4-5 October, the coordinator of the projects of Belteleradiocompany and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), Olga Salamaha, will take part in the traditional meeting of heads of delegations of countries participating in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017, which will be held in Tbilisi. At the meeting, the organizers will be provided with the entire package of materials necessary for the participation of the official representative of Belarus in the contest.
