The scenery of "On the Unnumbered Hill" is set in 1944. A unit, located on the border of the Belarusian republic, gets an order to conquer a hill #89. This movie is about war, but it is also about love. While war brings destruction and death, loves makes it worth living. On the background of hill siege 4 guys and 4 girls fall in love and protect each other under constant peril of death. Even in difficult conditions they manage to be happy and retain hope that some day all this horror will be over. Craving to live and wonderful power of love fight out death.
Belarusian actors GennadiY Garbuk and Anna Kazuchits appear in the film alongside famous Russian celebrities Alexander Pashutin, Alexei Chadov, Anatoly Gushchin and Victoria Tolstonogova. Andrei Golubev is very persuasive in his part of major Inozemtsev.
The creators of "On the Unnumbered Hill" say that the movie, which has 15 main characters, is a portrait of generation, who had to sacrifice their youth to that war, which still couldn't prohibit them to love. Not all of them survived to see the victory, but for some of them those sorrow days were the happiest in their live...
