Viewers will receive the fastest and most unbiased information from the TV News Agency and watch licensed films, exclusive sport broadcasts and a lot more.
The TV News Agency will continue to be the major source of information in the country. People will be able to get information about political, economic, cultural and social developments domestically and abroad from news shows. Panorama covers at large the most important events of the day every weekday at 09:00 PM.
The First National Channel will abide by the principle “only the licensed films” in the new season to satisfy the Copyright and Neighboring Rights Act of Belarus. High-quality film presentation will be a principle pursued by Belteleradiocompany for a third consecutive season setting a good example for other domestic broadcasters.
Buying the best of what is available on the market is an essential task for the company. Such features as “World Cinema”, “Favorite Cinema”, “Premiere” will offer the viewing audiences elite cinema, world-class films, and premieres. There will still be a lot of Soviet and Belarusian cinematic choices, including the national films made at the dawn of cinematography. In the beginning of the season, a wave of world blockbusters, comedies and premieres will hit the screen on the First National Channel.

“The Point of Interest” - a weekly news summary focusing on economic developments in the country (finances, industry, innovations) with the involvement of experts, opinion leaders and decision makers.
“Land Issue” - a weekly socio-political program highlighting the challenges of the agroindustrial complex and rural communities.
“Special Report” - a reporter’s investigation into relevant aspects of life inside and outside the country (economy, everyday life, ecology, culture, religion, etc.).
“Contemporary Profiles” - a series of programs devoted to outstanding personalities of our times. The form of presentation is a hero’s confession.
“Rescuers” - a program about heroic people working for the police, Ministry of Emergencies, hospitals. The social value of the project is in promoting important professions, healthy and safe lifestyles through the demonstration of unusual situations people find themselves in when they don’t follow the safety rules of public life.
During the preparation for a new television season, conceptual changes have been made to “Good Morning, Belarus!”, new studio design has been developed and installed, adjustments made to the range of themes and content. The program got whole new features devoted to healthy lifestyles, life of rural toilers, as well as extra information and thematic reports on burning issues. Every viewer will find something useful in the fast up-to-date information brought to you by Elena Vnukova, Gennady Davydko, Svetlana Borovskaya and Ales Kruglyakov.
“Between the Two of Us” is a profile program presenting famous women of Belarus with interesting bios and destinies. These women are in the center of public attention and mass media. But public people have their own secrets. Only for the viewers of the First National Channel - confessions of Inna Afanasieva, Evelina Sakuro, Ksenia Mirnaya and other female celebs.
Besides, the First National Channel will feature updated versions of its best products: Oleg Lukashevich’s “New Collection”, TV magazine “High Heels”, Tamara Lisitskaya’s “By the Way”, TV club “Your Lotto”, Youth Talk “Show 5х5”, “Health”, “Essence”, “The Journey of a Dilettante”, “Sing, My Soul”, “Cinema Time”, “Constellation of Hopes”, “At the Crossroads of Europe”.
A weekly socio-political talk show is to be launched in the fall. A series of summary films covering the Summer Olympics 2004 is being prepared. Also under development is a series of programs about the history of the Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk Art Festival. Several special projects in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Victory and the jubilee of the Belarusian cinema will be prepared. Under preparation is a program about Belarusian tourism promoting the picturesque sights of the native land and keeping people interested in the cultural and historical past of the country.
In the new season, a series of special video films devoted to the fatherland, its history, people, achievements whose purpose is to inspire the sense of pride, national dignity, patriotism and to execute social, political and social tasks.
