Press release
According to project leader Nina Shoba, the appearance of every performer on stage is a real standout because it will be backed by artistic play and choreographic arrangements.
The new hosts of the festival are the winner of the last season of “The Constellation of Hopes” and holder of the fourth spot in the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest Olga Satsiuk partnered up with a First National TV Channel’s infotainment program “Good Morning, Belarus!” host Evgeny Bulko.
As before, the competitive festival will consist of qualifying rounds, finals and the gala, the latter being customarily held in the Palace of Republic. The founders of the festival are still the same: the National State TV and Radio Company of Belarus, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education.
No major changes have been made to the rules of the festival which involves 12 nominations and creative genres such as singing, instruments, choreography, sporting & ballroom dance, circus, MC contest, etc.
Gifted performers aged between 6 and 17 are allowed to participate in the competition as well as bands that succeeded at auditions held in Minsk and the regions.
Based on the results of the qualifiers, the jury chooses winners who will advance to the gala. The brightest and most original artists are awarded the laureate title. Additionally, the founders of the festival may decide to hand prizes and presents to participants they believe are the best. Laureates of the previous competitions are not allowed to repeat participation.
Since 2003, the all-round winner of the National Television Young Talent Competition “The Constellation of Hopes” represents Belarus at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
