Today the technical team of Belteleradiocompany completes installation of the stage of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest-2018 at the Minsk-Arena. On November 14, rehearsals with extras will begin there.
The content of the first rehearsals of the competition is held by the organizers in strict confidence, as they will allow working out the performances and preparing the surprises of the main show. And they will be numerous this year. Junior Eurovision will allow participants to go out into outer space.
The rehearsals will be held with participation of invited extras who will temporarily replace the contestants. Directors and cameramen will work with technical backups; technicians - with sound and light. By the way, about a hundred professionals of the Belteleradiocompany worked to install tons of lighting equipment, because an individual scenario is prepared for each participating country to illuminate the scene during the performance of its representative.
Rehearsals with real participants of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 will begin on November 20, the day after the Euroweek starts in Minsk. The opening ceremony will be held on November 19 at the National Exhibition Center BelExpo at 17.00. The TV version of the holiday will be broadcast immediately after Panorama on the channels Belarus 1 and Belarus 24, as well as on the official website of the media holding www.tvr.by.
You can learn more about the preparations for the main musical event of the year, which will take place on November 25, from news releases and the Junior Eurovision Song Diaries-2018. The Diaries Light up! are aired on Belarus 1 on weekdays at 20.55, and on Sundays in large format at 20.15.
The organizer of all the events of Junior Eurovision-2018 is the National State TV and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus as the only member of the European Broadcasting Union in our country.
